The gang that were baptised today!!! - We are missing one
Wow!!!!! This weekend was incredible! I told you about my Saturday, but forgot to mention my Thursday and Friday.... Thursday morning Sarah gave birth to her and Danny's second child, a little boy. Elijah John Simpson. Scott and I thought we should give her Thursday to rest, but on Friday after I got off work we went to meet him. I was so nervous to hold him, although he was almost 9lbs he was so small. (Hey, it has almost been six years since I held a baby that small) That boy is going to be a heart breaker! He is the most adorable baby!! We stopped by to see them again today and he was even cuter!! I cant wait to see him again!!!
Church today was awesome!! Scott and I picked up Robin's dad as a surprise to her. She has been wanting him to come for a while. My mom also made it today and it was great. She told me after the baptisms that Ray's message really touched her and had her heart beating full throttle. She told me that Ray knew there was others and she was one of them. I told her I could see it in her. I wish my mom would let the wall down and accept Jesus in her heart and in her life. She has so much pain built up from her past that she just needs to let go of. I hope all of you will keep her in your prayers. Anyway Ray's message was great. After Church he baptised 11 yes 11 people!!! How great is that. The cool part is there is still 5-6 more that want to be baptised. 3 of the 11 were my family being baptised! My husband was one. He was baptised as a kid and really felt he needed to be baptized again! The second was my 16 year old sister!!! I have said this tons of times before, but I will say it again and probably a million times more. I am so proud of the changes she has made in her life. She has had a rough life and really has done a great job at turning things around. The third family member that was baptised today was my son. He is 12 and decided that he is ready to live his life for Jesus! I am so proud. I knew it was only a matter of time. Austin is not one to hide is love for the Lord. There were eight others that were baptised and I must say I am amazed at each and every one of them! I love Center Pointe!!!
