This morning started off pretty well that was until we sadly said goodbye to yet another person at Contingent. It was completely unexpected and no one seen him as one of the ones to be let go. He had just moved over to the sales department. The rumor is there is still more to go. I just wish this was all over. It's so sad to see everyone leaving one by one and scary not to know if you are next. Watching Victor leave today made it real.
The day did seem to get better at 5:30 today, I had a toothless little girl run up to my desk and proudly show me her missing tooth. And when I came home today, I found my "free" jewelry from my party waiting for me! I felt like a princess trying it all on! Robin also came over today. We have not seen her since the fight. It hit me hard, how much I miss her and wish things were back to normal.
I am excited to hang out with the CP girls tomorrow. Although I am on call, I will not be missing women's "day" at Panera.

I agree that it is very sad and unsettling that they let another person go. I wish it would stop and the economy would get better. They are still finishing the new building so eventually they have to start hiring more people.
Don't forget to bring mine and Trish's jewelry to Panera today!
