I made it another week. I started the day off to a sick 6 year old screaming her head off because she was in pain. Scott had some things he had to take care of today and I had no one to watch Julie, so I worked from home. Then I start getting all these IM's saying this person and that person was let go, the next thing I know we get an email stating there will be a company meeting at 4pm. Boy did I have a million thoughts running through my mind. The owner started the meeting off by telling us that if we are there, we were doing a good job and deserved to be there. He said he seen something in all of us, and that is why we were chosen to stay. I think I heard the whole entire office let out a sigh of relief at that point. He said that there were no intentions of letting anyone else go. And that the raises and advancements would not stop.
I have to be honest, things are not as peachy as they look! We are slammed and short staffed, but with the stress of loosing their job off everyone, I think it will get better.
