It's begining to feel a lot like Christmas!!!

What a great weekend! We had so much fun over this nice long weekend!
Thursday on Thanksgiving, me, the kids, mom, and Scott cooked dinner! It was great! Missy, Trish, Terri, Missy's 2 brothers, my dad, Nichole, Dave, and Abby were all there. After wards we all had to eat and run because we were meeting up with other family members. Scott, the kids, and I went to my grandma's Church where they host a Thanksgiving dinner every year. Of course we didn't eat there, but did get a chance to visit with everyone. We didn't get to stay long, my grandma was tired from the days adventure and asked that we give her a ride home. We took my grandma home, cleaned up the house a bit for her and made sure she was comfortable and came home to take a couple hour nap for our big shopping spree that evening.

As I was taking my nap, I woke up to a boy starring down at me not saying a word. I was scarred to death. My eyes were playing tricks on me and I could not make out who this kid was. When I finally came to I realized it was Scott's little cousin, Bryan. He had stopped by to say hello. He probably could have used a better way of waking me up though that is for sure.

OK so I have never done the black Friday shopping at Walmart before, mostly because of all the crazy things I heard. But I have to admit, it was nothing like I expected. Yes it was crowded, but the people were not as rude as I thought they were going to be. I did not get pushed or ran over or beat up for an item. I am in complete shock at what happened at the Walmart in New York. Wow. Unlike my husband I probably would do it again. We saved tons of money and most of our Christmas shopping is done. I did sleep most of the day on Friday though so that was kind of a wast of a day.

Saturday morning, We met up with Dave and Robin for breakfast. I love seeing them and catching up with everything that is going on in their lives. We miss them so much!
After meeting up with them, we stopped by Scott's cousins and picked up Brianna.

Saturday afternoon we met up at the Church to help decorate. We had a lot of fun putting the tree together. The sanctuary looks beautiful! The Brock's sure have a lot of talent!! Brianna had a lot of fun playing the Angel for the live nativity. It is truly amazing to see everything happening at CP.

Ray's brought an amazing message today. Today I prayed for Tim. Now I am not sitting there praying that he will pay for everything he has done, or wishing the worst on him. But deep down part of me hopes that every year at Christmas he hurts because he gave up on Julie. I prayed for him that he would open his heart to Jesus.

After Church, our small group met up and made homemade pizza! We also practiced our singing. Our group is going to go to the Nursing home in Blanchester to sing Christmas Carols. We also discussed the message and that one person who has hurt us most.

This week is going to be a crazy week because I am on call, but it is my last on call week ever! I am so excited about that!
